1. What Defines a True PE100 Resin?
The designation PE100 originates from the Minimum Required Strength (MRS) classification defined in ISO 9080. A PE100 resin must demonstrate a 97.5% lower confidence limit of tensile hoop strength of at least 10.0 MPa at 20°C over a 50-year extrapolated lifespan.
